Privacy Policy.

LOOKD (lookd.com) is run by Due North Marketing in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what happens when you visit the site, use a tool, or send us a message. For privacy requests, email info@duenorthmarketing.com.
Files you use in the tools
Image, PDF, and font files you choose are processed in your browser on your device. The tools do not upload those files to LOOKD or store them on our servers. A preview and the saved output are made locally. Your device may retain a downloaded result until you delete it. Close the page or clear your browser data to remove temporary browser copies. Do not use a tool with a file you lack permission to use.
Visit and server data
Our website host may receive your IP address, request time, page address, browser details, and related security logs when it serves the site. We use hosting and security services to deliver the pages and keep the site working. Hosting logs and retention depend on our host's settings. If you contact us by email, we receive your address and message and use them to reply and handle your request. Email and hosting providers may process data outside Canada.
Ads and visit counts
If you choose ads, Google AdSense and third-party ad partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons or IP addresses, and process data to show and measure ads. Google and its ad partners may use visit data across sites. If you choose visit counts, Statcounter may receive your IP address, browser and device details, page visits, and similar usage data. Those providers handle data under their own policies and may process it outside Canada. You can read Google's privacy policy and Statcounter's legal pages. Google also offers ad controls.
Cookies and your choices
On your first visit, we ask whether to enable ads and visit counts. Both are off until you choose them. You can accept both, reject both, or pick each separately. The choice is saved in your browser's local storage under lookd-consent-v1, so the notice does not repeat on each page. The site may still use browser memory to run tools, and your web host may use data needed to deliver or protect the site. You can reopen the choices with the Cookie settings link in every footer. Turning an option off prevents its script from loading after the page reloads. A script that ran earlier may already have sent data or set a cookie; you can clear those cookies in your browser.
Use, sharing, and retention
We use contact messages to answer you, server records to serve and protect the site, and optional provider data for the choices you make. We do not sell files selected in the tools. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the site. We keep email exchanges as needed to reply and manage our records, then delete them when no longer needed, subject to legal or business record needs. Hosting, Google, and Statcounter each set their own retention periods; ask us for current details of records we control.
Access and questions
To ask what personal data we hold about you, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern, email info@duenorthmarketing.com. We may need to check your identity before sharing records. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We may revise this page as the site or its providers change; the updated date above will change.
